GS-0401:
1.Degree:
biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR 2.Combination of education and
Experience:
Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, you must also possess experience and/or directly related education in the amounts listed below. Specialized Experience Requirement:
For the GS-12:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as one or more of the following:
Assisted in managing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, reviewing, and reporting on a natural resource management program; Participated in strategic planning efforts and directed implementation activities within a natural resource management program area to support and achieve objectives; Prepared environmental analysis documents, management plans and other reports. Provided review and recommendations for these documents for management consideration; Facilitated the development of partnerships, agreements and grant proposals to meet program and mission objectives. For the GS-13:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as one or more of the following:
Managed natural resource related program(s); Developed project plans for a natural resources program or related area; coordinated assigned programs and plans with other resource management functions; provided input on development of natural resource programs; participated in land management planning efforts by providing resource data information to help formulate long range plans for the functional areas of the program; prepared short-range and long-range functional resource and fiscal plans to ensure compliance with land management planning policies and regulations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
