GS-14:
At least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. Examples of specialized experience include:
Provided leadership, coordination, and administration of corporate investments in natural resource application, information technology architecture, information management, and Information Resources governance. Evaluated reports by analyzing facts and developed recommendations, polices, and processes based on findings. Managed financial investments in information technology assets to ensure timely detection and resolution of problems. Formulated policies to manage information system and natural resource management programs to accomplish interrelated program objectives. Collaborated with partners and others on Federal, State, and private lands with an emphasis on integrated natural resource management; Assisted in implementing policies and procedures in support of a natural resources information management program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
