Immediately notifies charge nurses, managers and house supervisors of significant problems or unusual incidents, such as physician/patient occurrence and crises requiring administrative interventionIntervenes when appropriateParticipates in clinical education by supervising student interns, clinical affiliates and Clinical Fellowships (CFYs) as neededProvides personnel and broader community with education opportunitiesAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates speech therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patientsSets patient care prioritiesAssigns patient care activities to appropriate personnel based on job description skills and capabilities, scope of practice and level of competencyPerforms other job-related duties as assignedOrganizational Requirements:
