Participates in and support the patient/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, customer service skills, clerical skills and maintenance of patient information under the direction of an RN.
Job Description:
EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience Plus successful completion of medical terminology course is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Must have demonstrated proficiency in computer skills.
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Completes Management of Assaultive Behavior within 180 days lethal arrhythmia/telemetry class required within six months of hire or first available class within 180 days of hire.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE Previous employment in a healthcare setting i.
e.
, CNA, Rehab technician, EMT, ED technician required.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication skills and basic computer proficiency skills.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must have the ability to handle a variety of stressful situations while remaining calm, professional, flexible, and work independently.
Demonstrates the ability to operate basic office equipment, i.

, fax machine, computer, copier, etc.
Pay Range:
$27.

28 The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
